Headspa.ce Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment at Headspa.ce Luxury Head Spa you agree to the following terms: 

Health & Safety: A consent form must be completed prior to your appointment (sent via email). It is important that you inform us via your consent form of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements before your treatment. We reserve the right to refuse service if a treatment may pose a risk to your health. Clients who are pregnant, breastfeeding or undergoing fertility treatment must seek approval from their doctor before booking a Headspa.ce Luxury Head Spa appointment as the treatment requires clients to lie on their backs for 1 - 1.5 hours.

Age Restrictions: Unfortunately, we cannot perform treatments on anyone under the age of 16.

Hair extensions, Braids and Coloured Hair: We are unable to carry out treatments on clients with any type of hair extensions or braids as we need full access to the scalp. For those with coloured hair, please note that this treatment cannot be carried out within 48 hours of colouring, and as with will all scalp and hair cleansing treatments, some colour may be removed during treatment.

Booking & Cancellations: All bookings require a deposit of £75, with the balance due on completion of treatment. You may cancel or reschedule your booking providing we are given at least 72 hours notice. No refund of deposit will be offered for cancellations where less than 72 hours notice has been given. Where less than 24 hours notice is given, the remaining balance for the full treatment will also be payable by you and charged to the payment method used for your deposit. If for any reason we need to cancel your appointment, you will be offered the option to reschedule your treatment or have your deposit refunded.  

 

No-show Policy:  If you fail to attend your appointment without notifying us in advance, you will be classed as a no-show and your deposit will be retained with the remaining balance for the treatment charged to the payment method used for your deposit. If you wish to rebook a treatment, a new deposit will be required in order to secure the booking.

Lateness:  If you are more than 30 minutes late to your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be classed as a no-show. In that instance, the no-show policy will be applied (as per the details above). Lateness of less than 30 minutes will mean a reduced treatment time due to the appointment not commencing on time.

Arrival Time: Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your booked slot to enable us to prepare fully for your appointment. 

 
Gift Vouchers: Gift vouchers can be purchased  via our website and booking links. All vouchers are non-refundable and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

Preparation for Your Visit:  Prior to your visit, please ensure you have completed the consent form that will be sent to you via email.

 

Additional preparation guidance is detailed below:

Hair 

If you wear hair extensions or braids, these must be removed before your appointment, or it will not be possible to perform the head spa treatment. You should arrive with your hair down or loosely tied back, and wearing minimal make up (as make up may be partially removed during the course of the treatment). Extensive detangling or removing complex hairstyles may reduce the time available for your treatment. For those with coloured hair, please note that this treatment cannot be carried out within 48 hours of colouring, and as with will all scalp and hair cleansing treatments, some colour may be removed during treatment. 

Clothing & jewellery 

In order to perform the massage elements of the treatment, your head spa practitioner will require you to remove any clothing covering your neck and shoulders, so it is advised that loose clothing is worn for this purpose. Blankets and towels will be provided to ensure you remain warm and comfortable throughout your treatment.  Similarly, jewellery such as earrings and necklaces should be removed prior to the treatment commencing.  

 

Parking and Accessibility: Please do not use the parking spaces in front of the building as these are reserved for the ground floor hair salon. Parking for 2+ hours (which is needed) is available at the train station car park across the road, on South Street, on Ryleys Lane, or there is free on-street parking in various locations around the village (please check time restrictions as these vary).  As Alderley Edge is a busy village, please allow plenty of time to find parking prior to your appointment.

Please note, the Spa is situated on the first floor with no lift access
